Election organizers who upload private voter lists are responsible for having the appropriate basis to share those voters' details with TrooVote. Voter mobile numbers are used solely to deliver OTPs and authenticate voters for the specific voting they are registered in. We do not use voter data for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in India or the Asia-Pacific region. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest) and access controls to protect your data.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain application state. We may also use analytics cookies to understand platform usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work correctly.
We retain your account data for the duration of your use of the platform and up to 90 days after account closure, unless a longer retention is required by law. Content you delete is removed within 30 days from backups. Completed voting records may be retained for audit purposes for up to 2 years.
